Nobody spoke immediately.
The only sounds inside the garage came from a wrench dropping somewhere near the motorcycle lifts and the old rock song drifting through the speakers hanging from the ceiling.
The prospects, who had been pretending not to listen, suddenly became very interested in tightening bolts that didn't need tightening.
Boone slowly wiped the grease from his hands with an old shop rag before looking from Mason to Rhett, then to Jace.
"Well," he muttered under his breath, "this just became a family meeting I never expected."
Nobody laughed and Rhett looked between his brothers in complete disbelief.
"I seriously don't understand what the hell is going on."
His voice wasn't angry. It was confused.
"Since when are the two of you making decisions for Sage?"
