"Well, congratulations are in order. You are definitely expecting," Dr. Monroe says after a while. "Are you sure?" I stupidly asked and she smiled. "Two regular tests and a rapid blood test all show that you are pregnant. And judging by the timeline you gave me, you are probably between 5 and 6 weeks along. An ultrasound will give you exact dates," she says, and I just look at her. Three positive tests? I suppose I can't live in denial anymore.
"You are in very good health, even the latest test results are good. Don't worry about the x-ray you did on your chest a few weeks ago. It should not have harmed the fetus.
