Rafael was already waiting on the jet when Nikolai and I arrived.
As soon as he saw me, he stood up, walked toward me, and kissed me like it had been too long since he saw me. It had only been two days. But I kissed him back with the same intensity.
When he pulled back, I looked around the jet. It was just as I remembered six months ago. The memories hit me at once.
