Serena Vale ~•~ I woke up alone on my birthday. Both sides of the bed were cold, which meant they had woken up a long time ago. The house was also very quiet so I assumed they had gone out. For some reason, they took my birthday very seriously and I wouldn’t put it past them to be planning something. Instead of racking my head, trying to figure out what they were up to, I slid out of bed and reached for my phone on the nightstand. It wasn’t like I was expecting everyone to drop whatever they were doing and send me wishes, but there were none. Then I looked at the signal. Zero bars. Of course.
