“Do we have to worry about the lawsuit between VM Global Holdings and Grant Tech?” Jessica questioned, following me into the conference room. I’d temporarily moved my desktop there.
“Why are you asking?”
“One, because we were working on the campaign for the software he apparently stole. Two, your client and your partners are in a legal battle. I don’t know if I should be worried.”
I chuckled. “You have nothing to worry about. Not yet at least. He hasn’t even responded so we don’t know how it will go.”
I wasn’t sure why Marcus was taking time to respond. What the hell was he up to?
“And if he does countersue? What then?”
“You don’t need to worry about that. He won’t win.”
She arched an eyebrow. “Why are you so sure?”
