I didn’t tell them I signed the contract.
Not that night. Not the next day. I just couldn’t.
The contract was already done. Grant Tech had signed too. It had been finalized and sent back to me. Even if I didn’t know how to tell them, I could just take a picture of my signature and send it to them, but my hands just wouldn’t move.
Instead of dwelling on it, I spent the whole day conducting interviews. After the article circulating in the past week, I was surprised anyone still wanted to work for me, but I ended up interviewing about twenty people. Five people asked about my personal life. Two of them were curious if I’d really be working with Grant Tech. Three others had crazy salary expectations.
I’d never conducted interviews. It was stressful as f**k.
