I was biting the inner of my cheek as I watched Samuel take his exit, leaving me feeling an unimaginable amount of shame loading my chest.
Samuel built a wall so high and strong against everyone. And I know I should have accepted it a long time ago now that whatever I do, I just wouldn’t be able to enter it or his life as it is.
