Chapter 6

When Zendaya, Hawiovi, and Hanska arrive at Centennial Park, they’re holding hands and receiving a lot of stares and finger-pointing. The three ignore, but the twins are watching Zendaya to see how she reacts to the attention and are hoping this doesn't make her decide not to date them. Hawiovi stops at a vendor to buy the three ice cream cones. Hanska put a blanket on the ground and helped Zendaya sit down. He chuckles, looking at her, moving her head, and snapping her fingers to the music of a local band. Hawiovi sits down and gives her a Parline and Cream ice cream cone. The twins are looking at her as she licks the ice cream. “My favorite. Now tell me more about this dating.” Zendaya looks between the twins, then notices a chestnut-haired woman staring at Hanska and Hawiovi as she walks their way. Hanska glances at his brother, “We're talking about a committed relationship with you.” She nods, still looking at the woman. “A consensual relationship.” “Yes.” The two men haven’t taken their eyes off her. So, they haven't noticed the woman standing beside them until she clears her throat. The woman is looking at both men, trying to figure out which one is Hanska. He’s the one she slept with, but she can’t tell them apart. “Hi. It’s been a long time. Why haven’t you called me?” She looks at Zendaya. Zendaya's attention goes back to the band. Hanska turns around to see who is behind him. “Ah, Classy, this is our girlfriend Zendaya. I believe that explains it all.” Classy looks at him, “girlfriend. I didn’t know you or your brother had a girlfriend.” She walks away talking to herself. Hanska touches Zendaya’s arm, “I'm sorry about that. I hope that doesn’t ruin our date. Are you okay?” “Yes, Hanska, I’m fine. No, our date isn’t ruined.” She looks at him, "I haven’t agreed to your girlfriend yet.” He kisses her forehead. "I know, I just wanted to hear how it sounds. It sounded great.” Hawiovi grins, “Wait a minute, you can tell us apart. Nobody has ever been able to do that. Well, besides our parents, brother, and sister." Zendaya chuckles, “I guess that makes me exceptional.” "That you are," The twins nod while thinking, "perfect." Hawiovi thought it would be best if they went to ride the Ferris wheel since Classy was giving him, Zendaya, and Hanska the evil eye. Hanska was relieved because he was about to say a few choice words to the woman who was so bold as to interrupt his and his brother's date. After riding the Ferris wheel, they drove back to Zendaya’s house, hoping she would give them the answer they wanted. Instead, she said, "she needed to spend more time with them and to think about it." “Tomorrow night dinner. We’ll pick you up around six thirty.” Hawiovi takes her hand. Hawiovi takes her other hand. “We understand. Zendaya, we won’t pressure you. If you give us a chance, my brother and I will never hurt you. Nor will you ever get bored with us." “I believe you two will always treat me well. As for being bored, I don’t see that happening. I’ll give you an answer tomorrow night.” Zendaya kisses Hawiovi and Hanska’s cheeks, "Goodnight." But they refused to leave, not before exchanging phone numbers and telling her, "Now, we're only a call away." Hawiovi tells her to close the gate as soon as they're clear, and they'll wait until it's closed before they drive away. As soon as Zendaya locks the door, she calls Trinity and Stephanie. She couldn't wait to tell them about the handsome twins who showed up at the clinic. The romantic picnic in her office. Trinity screams so loud that Zendaya takes the phone from her ear. “Girl, I have to change this to a video chat.” She laughs and tells them Hanska and Hawiovi want her to be their girlfriend. “Damn, they aren’t wasting any time.” Stephanie chuckles, “What about the two bitches with the eye problems?” Trinity over-talks Stephanie. “Who cares about the dizzy gold diggers? Are you going to give those sexy twins a try? You should." “I'm leaning that way. It’s not like I can’t afford to walk away if I want to. Why not? It's not like I have anything to lose. “ Zendaya is walking upstairs. “Your virginity,” Stephanie yells and laughs. “Give it to them. Girl, please give it to them.” Trinity points at her, “I mean it, Zen. Give it up.” Zendaya laughs, "Both of you are crazy. I’m going to shower. I have a date tomorrow night and a full schedule at the clinic.” She ends the chat and exhales, “Give it to them. I didn’t think about that. Oh boy.” **** On the way home, Hanska and Hawiovi can’t stop talking about Zendaya. Hawiovi can’t get over the fact that she knew them apart. How talented she is and all the awards, crowns, and trophies they say are in the library. The twins had gone on a tour while she was upstairs. They can't believe she plays softball, basketball, and tennis. Zendaya didn't seem like the type of woman who played or liked sports. They can understand swimming, dancing, beauty pageants, and academics. Hanska shakes his head, "I don’t believe we should date her.” His brother looks at him in disbelief, “Why? She’s perfect.” “Yes, she's perfect. Marriage. No dating. Skip the dating. We both know she's the one for us. Dating will be a waste of time.” Hanska points at him as they're driving into the garage. Hawiovi steps out of the car with the picnic basket .”Good thinking, brother. I must say I didn't want to wait months to marry her. Cross your fingers that our Kitala Wakiyela agrees with us." "Dr. Zendaya Navajo has a nice ring to it.” Hanska laughs, then he looks at the screen of his ringing phone and sticks it back in his pocket. Hawiovi's phone was also ringing, and he ignored the call as his brother said, “Hell no, not tonight.” Across the street, Adley and Zoya were watching them; they had been there for several hours. “No hell, they didn’t ignore our damn calls,” Adley yells, looking at the garage door closing. Zoya tries to calm her down, only to get her arm slapped. “Who in the hell did they take on a f*****g picnic? " Adley yells. Zoya rubs her arm. “I don’t know. They never took us on one." “She frowns, 'I wonder who the two women are they took.” Adley looks at her and shakes her head. Or who is she? It’s probably that damn b***h. I’m sure they ran to her after we left their house last night. I don't know who that ugly-ass woman is, but I don't like her. “Who? What ugly ass woman?" Zoya looks at her, confused. “Why me? The b***h from the restaurant. The one those fools ditched us for.” Adley frowns. We’ll wait for her for an hour to see if she comes. We'll ambush her asses and run her off." "I don't know about this. Why do you want?" Zoya is tapping the window at a bug that's on the outside of it. "Never mind. I would say look in the mirror, but you still wouldn’t understand it." Adley mumbles and hits the steering wheel, staring at the window where the light just came on. “Those bastards.” She starts the car and speeds into the twins’ driveway. “Get your ass out. We’re making our way into that damn house. I don’t care what we have to do.” Zoya is still looking at her. "We should go home." “Get out,” Adley yells and opens the door. Zoya jumps, opens the door, and falls to the ground. Adley doesn't look at her. “Hurry up.” Hanska and Hawiovi are in the den making arrangements for their date with Zendaya when they hear the doorbell. They look at each other, “damn.” Hawiovi clenches his fist. “It better not be those two psychos. “ He looks out the window. “I've never seen that car before. They must be at the wrong house.” The twin walks to the door, and Hanska looks through the peephole. “f**k it’s the two psychos.” he unlocks the door. "Unfucking believable," Hawiovi stares at the door. The doorbell rings again as the door opens. Adley and Zoya rushed in fast;t they almost fell. Adley is holding on to Zoya’s arm. “Give us five minutes.” “We have said everything there is to say.” Hawiovi folds his arms. Hanka points outside. “Get off our property, or we’ll call the police. We’re tired of being nice to you two.” "Okay, okay," Zoya mumbles, trying to walk toward the door. But Adley still has a hold on her. Adley shakes her head, "We're not leaving." “Either you two leave, or we’ll throw you and your damn cousin out on your asses. Then I’ll call the police to have you both arrested for trespassing. Hanska walks toward the two women. "Let's not forget stalking." Hawiovi gives Zoya a stern look. Adley releases her hold on Zoya and raises her hands. "We’re going. You two are asshol.s,” She grabs Zoya’s arm and runs out the door, dragging Zoya behind her. They get in the car and speed off, almost hitting the street light. “Damn, it’s a good thing Zendaya wasn’t here. She would divorce us before she agreed to marry us. There is no way in hell she wouldn’t tolerate those crazy ass women.” Hawiovi slams the door. Hanska nods and exhales, “The sad part about it. We haven't seen the last of the psychos.” ****** Judson is going out of his mind because Zendaya still isn’t answering his calls or replying to his texts. He knew when she broke up with him that he was off the deep end when he tried to force her to take him back. He would show up at the clinic where she worked with flowers, only for her to refuse to see him. Judson thought she needed some time alone, and then she would come back to him. Instead, it was the complete opposite when he would see Zendaya; she would ignore him as if they were strangers. When Zendaya's parents died, Judson called her to express his condolences. A man answered her phone, and he yelled and cussed the man out. The next thing he knew, Zendaya was on the phone telling him to stop calling and harassing her. How dare he speak to her cousin like that? That was the last time he heard her voice besides on her voicemail. He looks at her.” Do you think I care how you feel? I’ve always told your ass the door is open for you to leave at any time. If you had done what I told you at the clinic, then we wouldn’t have met the beautiful doctor, and we wouldn’t be having this damn conversation. "Zendaya never left her purse or brought anything personal to the clinic. I never had the chance to get any of her financial information or access to her Social Security number. Besides, I didn’t want to portray her any damn way. It's enough that you moan her name when we’re in bed. Hell, if I remember correctly, you were at her penthouse. I don't see anything you took from her. So what does that say about you?" She smirks, walking to a chair. Rosalind folds her arms. "Don't blame me." Judson chuckles, “Zendaya never left anything out. Hell, it was like walking into Fort Knox. One damn thing that’s for sure: by the look of her things in that penthouse, she’s loaded. That’s why I have to find her ass, and you’re not coming with me. The day I leave, I want your ass out of here. Before you say that you have nowhere to go. You’re a resourceful woman; I’m sure you will pick up a fool to take you in. So I suggest you use that money maker of yours." He points to the lower area of her body. Rosalind smirks while nodding and thinks, “Oh, mister, you're not getting away with treating me like this.”
