Katie’s POV-
I stood up abruptly, which caused everyone in the room to turn to look at me. Concern flashing across all their faces. I sighed, because I knew this was going to keep happening for a while. Mike asked, “Are you okay, Katie? You don’t have to be here for this.”
“I want to be here for this, but I need to take a break. I need some fresh air. I am going to take a stroll down to the pond,” I replied.
Mike nodded, and then glanced at Wolf. Great, I don’t get to have me time outside anymore. I left as quickly as I could from the room, trying to put some distance between me and Wolf. I need time to be alone and think about what we said. He basically just confessed that he wanted me back then, and by the sounds of it, he still wants me. But I am not even divorced yet.
