The next morning I got up early and showered. I was eager to see Phoenix. I was told she was coming early this morning. Part of me was really nervous about seeing Wolf again. I told him what I had been through, and I didn’t tell him to keep it a secret. Queenie knows, and I know she would never say anything to anyone. Doc and Allison are bound by doctor-patient confidentiality, so they won’t tell a soul without my consent.
Speaking of Wolf, I can’t believe he showed me his scars on his back. They are horrific, but it says a lot that I was the first to see them. I have been feeling so special because I was the first he trusted to show. He really helped me gain some confidence in the scars that I do have. He seemed very surprised when I hugged him.
