I was surprised that Gold gave his blessing. But I knew he could see that I was serious about this. Eventually it would really happen. I hoped we would have a year or two before I would ask her in complete surprise, at least for her. I won’t only do this because I need to protect her, I will do this because I love her and I can’t bear the thought of being without her.
