I kept a close eye on Con; she seemed like she was lost in her thoughts most of the time. She would sit and stare into space. I could see in her eyes the battle she was fighting. I wanted to help her, but was at a loss on what to do. I know pushing her would not help, so I just let her know I was here for her and when she was ready to talk or if she needed anything. She would smile at me, but it didn't reach her eyes, and it made me want to kill that man even more.
She wasnt eating either, just pushed the food around her plate and would take a few bites. She has a check-up today, and Im hoping some air will do her good.
