My phone went off as soon as we stepped through the door. Hearing the sound of laughter fill the air, I could make out Nix giggle. It's been nothing but laughing and happy smiles since they got here the other day. Nix would not go anywhere without Con, with him not even to the other room. She stayed with him the first night. I understood he was overly clingy, even with me, which landed me on the floor that same night, not wanting to be away from either of them.
