I pushed Con out of the room and down the hall, as Steel walked in front of us. A nurse hot on our heels, Steel came straight here when I called, saying she was being discharged. I also got my papers, along with hers, rolled up and shoved in my back pocket. Even though the doctors were not happy about my wanting to be out of here, they kept going on about how it was a risk and that I should still stay here so they could monitor me.
I was done with the hospitals, they had poked and prodded me enough, my wound was healing, and that what matters, that and I wasnt about to let her leave here without me with her, or me stay here without her, these people were crazy.
Con let out a huff as I turned her around, pulling her and the wheelchair backwards into the elevator.
