I turned the photograph over and examined it again. Camille had chosen a picture of herself kissing my husband, then left it in my room. I wondered when she had taken it and whether Julian knew she was sending it to me. I put the photograph back inside the envelope and went upstairs.
I found Camille standing outside the guest suite beside Julian's bedroom. Two maids were carrying her suitcases inside while she directed them. She noticed the envelope in my hand and smiled. I stopped a few feet away from her.
