‘You really shouldn’t be doing this, human.’ my dragon growled out.
I huffed in irritation. ‘All you need to do is help me when I need it, you overgrown lizard. Just remember if I die in this duel, then you die too.’ I snapped out before mentally blocking him.
I let out a sigh of frustration. This was not how things were supposed to go. My mother’s spies should have already drugged my brother, but something didn’t seem right. I was sitting in my place before the duel and was staring across the field towards my brother. I don't know why, but he seemed fine. I guess the drug Mother had her men give him must take some time to take effect. I will just have to hold on until it takes full effect and finish him.
