As Mathiras starts the match. I feel Karisma tense up next to me. I lean down to whisper in her ear. “Don’t worry. Kaspar won’t lose easily.” I told her. She sighed. “That is not the part I’m worried about.” She said, her hands twisting around as she nervously wiggled in her seat.
“Then what are you worried about?” I asked. “I am worried about how this will affect him mentally. I mean, the laws are clear as day, and this was always a possibility in royal families like this.” She paused for a moment before turning to meet my gaze. “But how could anyone be ready to have to kill their own sibling? Is there even a type of training that can prepare anyone fully for that?”
