I was sitting in front of the mirror when a knock was heard. “Who is there?” I snarled out. I hated it when others interrupted me while I was making myself beautiful.
“Apologies, your grace, but the second prince is here to visit you.” A whimper of voice called out. I scoffed at her fear. I properly punished all my maids who thought they would defy my orders, though I made sure none were seen by anyone from the court.
