Jason's POV.
My pack lunged forward in a perfectly coordinated attack without a second's hesitation. Emmerson took the lead and took down the first Rogue in a matter of seconds.
We were ready for them this time. We had a plan. We weren't going to allow them to catch us off guard again. We weren't going to give them the opportunity to kill any more of us.
Shaun and I both knew that the Lycan would come after Emma sooner or later. We also realized that he wasn't a strategic planner like Joseph and that he would probably come at us with brut force. He only had one goal in mind and that would be getting his hands on Emma. We decided that we could use that to our advantage. We could use Emma as a distraction.
She was more than willing to go along with our plan when we asked her.
