Emma's POV.
It's been almost three months since I killed Joseph, and today is Shaun and Melody's wedding day. He asked her a few days after I told him about his father. I guess that he also felt like he had dealt with the final piece of unfinished business that he had and that he was finally ready to move on with his life.
I couldn't be happier for him. After everything that he's been through and after everything that he's done for me, no one has earned a happy ending more than Shaun.
Everyone at the compound was beside themselves with excitement for the two of them. No one could wait to see them tie the knot.
Shaun asked Jason to be his best man, and Melody asked me to be her maid of honor. Of course, we both said yes immediately.
Alice would be officiating the ceremony.
