Shaun's POV.
Emma and Jason stared at each other with the same expression of shock and amazement on their faces. My eyes darted between the two of them.
I was scared out of my mind. I had absolutely no idea what had just happened to Emma. She just lost it. She didn't even want me to touch her.
Was she scared of me?
A more terrifying thought crossed my mind. Did she blame me for the horrible ordeal that she had suffered? Did she blame me for the loss of our child?
What if she did? How would we ever be able to move past it?
Alice cleared her throat a little uncomfortably and left the room. Jason and Emma were still staring at each other. Neither one of them had attempted to take their eyes off of the other.
