Emma's POV.
It was still dark outside when I woke up. Dawn was only just beginning to break.
Jason was still fast asleep. He was breathing deeply and steadily.
We spent another night together, talking and doing nothing else. We talked about everything and nothing. We shared stories about our childhood. He told me tales of his father and what a great Alpha he was. I told him about my parents and how much I missed them. I told also told him about Daisy and how she was the only friend I had at one point. We also spoke about Amanda and her parents and my baby, how much I missed all of them and how I still felt guilt over all of them.
We laughed together and Jason comforted me when I cried. Getting to know him was such a wonderful thing. I cared more deeply for him with every second that p
