After spending the afternoon with Leah and Danica, Joel and Hera escorted them back to the packhouse. From there, they went their separate ways to wrap up the afternoon, agreeing to meet up with Candy and Poseidon for their double date later that evening.
Hera was absolutely giddy the moment she stepped through the front door, and Poseidon happened to be lounging in the living room.
“Why are you so happy?” he asked, looking up at his sister.
“Oh! Hey, Percy. I didn’t realize you were home,” Hera said shyly.
“Yeah… It’s Friday. I always get home early on Fridays,” Poseidon replied. “Where have you been?”
“I was out with Joel, the Beta female, and baby Danica,” Hera answered.
“Okay. I’m guessing by that massive smile on your face, it was a good day?”
