As Dorian, Jedediah, Allie, and Vivienne were heading out for a bite to eat, they crossed paths with the Fab Four, who were also on their way to lunch.
“Hey, lunch time for you guys, too?” Allie asked, offering a warm smile.
“Yes, ma’am,” Warlord replied on behalf of the group.
“Care to join us?” Vivienne offered.
“If it’s okay with the boss,” Poseidon said, glancing over at Dorian.
“Fine by me,” Dorian nodded easily. The Fab Four exchanged a collective nod, and the entire group set off together.
As they walked, Allie turned to Fury. “Where’s Margot?”
“She’s slammed,” Fury responded, checking his phone. “I sent her an instant message, and she said she has a mountain of calls to return for the marketing team. She’ll be working through lunch today.”
