Winter is still here but starting to fade. The snow is lighter. The days are getting longer.
Life in Moonridge is returning to normal. Or as normal as it can be after losing forty two wolves.
I stand at my office window watching the pack go about their day. Warriors training in the courtyard. Pack members working. Children playing.
The supply routes reopened two weeks ago. The wagons are running again. Suppliers bringing food and materials. Everything we need to keep the pack fed and strong.
Cassian is overseeing warrior training. Rebuilding our forces after the losses we took. But happier now. He and Leah marked each other two weeks ago. I can see the difference in him. He's complete now in a way he wasn't before.
