I woke up feeling groggy and very sore. My first thought was that I didn't know where I was. As soon as the sound of my heart monitor registered in my brain though, I quickly remembered. I just had a baby.

That sh.it was painful and so damn hard. I don't think I could have done it without Mom there. Sure, CG was comforting too, in a way, but not the same as my mom being there.
