Seth POV
The door to my office opens and my father steps inside. He still looks weak but nowhere as weak as he was before he accepted my mother's rejection. I know he has gone to the cottage a few times since he left the hospital, but she refuses to speak to him. I'm sure he is here because he knows she will be joining us for the pack meeting this morning.
He and his wolf have not given up hope that she will forgive him in time. I think it will be a while because of how stubborn she is. She is also carrying a lot of guilt about how hard she was on Fawn. Knowing how angry she still is, I was tempted to tell her that she didn't need to attend the meeting, but I couldn't risk pissing her off. Right now, until Fawn returns, she is the acting Luna.
