Pryor pulled the exile record closer and opened it. Several pages had been added after Derek was removed from Ashcrest. Caius's warriors had recorded every part of the escort. I moved closer to read with him.
"Where did they take him?"
Pryor turned to the final page.
"Greyhaven."
I looked at Caius. I didn't recognize the name, but he clearly did. His attention remained on the record. Zeron moved closer to the table.
"What is Greyhaven?"
"A small territory west of Ashcrest."
Caius took the record from Pryor. Wolves without a pack sometimes passed through Greyhaven because its Alpha allowed them to remain for short periods. Derek had been left near its eastern border. Whether he had stayed there was another question.
"How long ago was this recorded?"
Pryor checked the date.
