The following morning, Pryor returned to my office with Sorin. Isla was already with me, and Zeron stood near the door waiting for the others. Halvon had been taken from Wraithbone before sunrise. The escort would reach the Crown execution grounds later that day.
Pryor placed a record in front of me. "This is Kael's case."
I opened it and read through the pages. Eight months of information had passed from Kael to Renn before reaching Halvon. Some of it had been ordinary pack information, but that didn't change what Kael had done. He had known Renn had no right to any of it.
