Alexander I didn't say anything for several seconds, just staring at the photographs on the table. I couldn't get a single question out of my head: Why? Because a scorned woman could send messages, could call… She could look for an opportunity to run into a man, but to sit for hours in front of a house, watching every move… That was something else entirely. I slowly raised my gaze to the investigator. "And after that?" The man took another sip of his coffee, calm, as if he were talking about the weather and not about someone who was probably losing her mind. "On the third day, she did practically the same thing."
