I ended up falling asleep on the bed again that afternoon and Austin woke me up when he came into the bedroom with a tray of food. “What time is it?” I asked. “8pm.” He said. “Are you kidding?” I asked. “Nope. You’ve been really tired lately.” He said. “I know. I don’t know what the hell is going on.” “It’s not unheard of. Your body has just been put through a lot of hell the last couple of months. And rejecting Tristan would have just added to it. Your body needs time to adjust.” He explained. “Yeah. I guess that could be it. Or I’m just depressed and trying to escape reality.” I said. “Yeah. It could be that as well.” He said. “What have you got there?” I asked. “Dinner. It’s not much because I don’t know how to cook much. And it probably won’t taste as good as yours. B
