I got Summer to the hospital where they treated her wounds and gave her blood. I stayed by her side, and Enzo arrived later.
“How is she?” He asked.
“She’ll be alright, just lost a lot of blood.” I said.
“I should’ve helped her.” He admitted.
“She knew you couldn’t fight.” I replied.
“She saved everyone.” He said.
“Yeah, she always does.” I muttered.
“That wolf broke silver bars.” Enzo added.
“Then we’re dealing with something worse.” I said.
“I know. I do know that. And I promise you right now, that I am going to do everything I can to get back up and lead this pack. I have to do it. Summer risked her life to save me.
