I was trying to stabilize the pack and find a leader, but nothing was working.
The place was a mess and I couldn’t leave them like this, but I couldn’t take on more either.
While going through files, the Beta rushed in.
“There’s been an attack on Alpha Enzo’s pack.” He said.
I shot to my feet. “Was anyone killed? Was my Luna taken?”
I headed straight for the woods with a couple of my warriors right behind me and we ran straight for that pack. My heart was pumping through the chest the whole way there. I was terrified but trying not to think the worst. They must have figured out that Summer didn’t come with me. If they were watching then it wouldn’t be hard to figure that out.
I should have known better than to leave her there unprotected.
