Mira’s POV,
“Aline, please, ask Alpha Elias if I can go to the shrine,” I mumbled in a low, trembling voice as I grabbed her hand tightly. Aline seemed totally caught off guard hearing my sudden request. I knew Kyden wasn’t going to keep my request to let me get out of this room. But my heart was in a dire mess, suffocating me and I needed to spend some time in a peaceful place to untangle my thoughts.
The shrine was very special to the Blood Fang pack’s people and nobody would dare to stop anyone from visiting there if they wished. I knew this was the only place to go where Kyden wouldn’t dare to refuse my request. I had heard so much about this shrine from the pack people and wanted to get some mental peace by going there.
Aline finally nodded, keeping her voice low. “I’ll try, Mira.”
