“Stop this madness, both of you!” Elder Eldric’s voice suddenly thundered through the sacred shrine, jolting the three of us. His silver hair was catching the midday sun as he stormed from the pines, his staff thumping the mossy ground.
The air was thick with tension between two mighty Alphas as the peace of this sacred land was already shattered by their rage and defiance. My heart pounded and my pup kicked hard, sensing my fear as I remained standing between the two Alphas.
The whispers of war between the two Alphas were spreading like wildfire through the Blood Fang pack and I felt the gathering of people turning into a mass crowd around us. All of them were scanning the situation with wide eyes and I was on the verge of fainting under their curious gaze.
