Yep, I did.
I asked Pip to be my lady; it's fast, and the reasons behind it might not be in my favour. If she says no, I will keep working on her until she says yes. Patiently and gently, use Dan to be my ally; together, we can wear her down.
Now, to start working on that plan, the first step will be to find Dan.
"Skunk, how's Pip?" Wrench called out, having me change my direction, hoping that Wrench had Dan.
"Left hip slight dislocation, and the swelling in her throat might render her unable to talk for a few days; it's still swelling, apparently. Nothing broken." I couldn't see Dan.
"Where is she?" Jip asked, coming into the room, with Dan at his side.
"Daddy," Dan raced towards me and threw his arms around my legs, looking up at me with a smile.
