Amelia’s POV I clung onto Damien as he ran forward, holding me in his arms. We were following the path of the van. While I had little hope we would catch up in human form, this was the only way I could get Damien to agree. He could have caught up to the van on his own, but he was adamant, he would not leave my side. I couldn’t make him, and I was still scared enough that I didn’t want to be alone. I hoped, eventually, we would find where Jake single-handedly succeeded in stopping the group. Or maybe he would trot back to us with more intel about which way they had gone.
