Back on patrol, I pushed myself as hard as I could, trying to wear out my own frustration. I could see where Amelia was coming from, and I felt the shadows of our past creeping over our present. My mistakes of the past were coming back to haunt me. I felt like I was making the same ones again.
But what could I do? I needed Amelia to be safe, and that meant she had to be confined to the house.
The sooner I could catch Claire and Sienna, the sooner these restrictions could be lifted, and Amelia and I could well and truly fix things once and for all.
