As person after person in his large search team reported back the same bad news, Damien’s frustration grew. He’d called on a lot of people, and pulled a lot of strings to get this large search team together so fast. To do all that and still find nothing, not even a whisper of a sighting, was hard to accept. Recalling the search team, he waited until everyone was assembled back by the front of the mall. “No one saw anything? Anything at all?” he asked.
