As Damien turned to the remaining members of the search party to dismiss them, Claire and I hurried after Ethan.
“Stupid, stupid Amelia,” Claire said as we rushed.
“As long as she’s still in the picture she’s going to be a threat. We have to get her out of the way.”
We cornered Ethan just as he arrived at the Alpha’s car.
“Make sure Damien and Amelia never see each other again,” I demanded. “Never. Do you understand?”
