“A formal occupancy dispute notice,” I replied. “Your decision to move a third party into jointly owned marital property during active proceedings is now being legally challenged.”
Jade’s face changed immediately.
“What does that mean?”
“It means your continued residence here is now formally disputed,” I said while keeping my attention on Brad. “If the issue isn’t corrected voluntarily, further action follows.”
Brad laughed once, but nothing about it sounded amused.
