When the group arrived back in the territory of the Slaughtered Lambs pack, Beast beelined for his Luna, and Miles found himself doing the same. He was focused on seeking out Tia. He didn’t want to lose his courage. He needed to confess everything and lay it all out there for her. Tia was a female who needed to have all the information before she could determine the risk and decide whether to proceed. Years of being heavily guarded have taught her to be cautious, and she needed him to be the Alpha.
Pine went straight to his office. He was eager to crack the USB stick and source any valuable information that they could use. Something in him told him that this stick was not meant to be found, and it held the key to everything.
