Morning light came faster than I would like to admit. I didn’t feel well-rested at all, but I knew that Meadow and I needed to head out now before rogues came around sniffing for the vulnerable.
After reviewing the territory map, Meadow and I decided it was best to head to the Raven Peak Pack instead of the Fisher Brooks Pack. As much as I would like to trust Miles and Alpha Tyson more, it was three times the hiking distance, and I couldn’t risk shifting into Meadow for long treks. There was too much risk with people seeing us in all of Meadows' brilliance and shimmer.
