After a long journey, Tia and Miles finally arrive at the Wolfen Council Headquarters. The tall silver gate was open, and the pair confidently walked through and entered the building.
This was the first time Tia had ever been within the Council's walls; her parents made a point of always taking Hilary and Simon, while she was left back at the pack.
Taking in the details of the architecture, Tia smiled. It was both beautiful and pretentious. She’d never seen a floor as glossy as this; the shimmer in the material made them shimmer, which caused a giggle to be shared between Tia and Meadow. The irony was comedic.
