I pretended like I didn't see Gloria staring at me. I was paralyzed, watching Richard walk away. My knuckles were still throbbing from the impact of his jaw, but the pain in my chest was way worse.
My head was a mess of loud, angry thoughts. I wanted to hunt him down and finish what I started. Richard and I had been brothers since middle school. He knew everything.
