OLIVIA The door clicked shut behind me as I stepped into the studio crowded with models. Their chatter faded almost instantly, a few heads turning, and some eyes widening in surprise. Others stayed focused, fixing their makeup, and pretending not to notice. I lifted my chin and straightened my shoulders, walking in as if the silence didn’t touch me. Of course, I felt it, but I wasn’t going to let it get to me. Just like them, I was here for rehearsals, and nothing more. So, I kept my gaze steady, pretending I didn’t see them. That way, they wouldn’t feel the need to say anything to me or ask me questions. My heels clicked against the polished floor as I moved further inside and the air smelled of fabric and body mist.
