Before Elena could say a word, Massimo was pushing her behind him and taking a large step towards Tyler.
"You'd think a don would have to be smart to keep hold of his position, but you continue to be a threat to common logic and decency, Tyler," Massimo said coldly.
"Your rudeness is as legendary as your power, Don of All Dons," Tyler replied. His cane echoed on the balcony floor as he took a step forward. "I wonder which will change first—your manners or your influence?"
"While you're thinking, you might as well remember how every fight you've picked me has gone, Tyler," Massimo retorted, his eyes brimming with cold rage. "You're already a disgrace to the other dons. You don't have much further to fall."
