“Are you guys attending the winter formal?” Vera asked Katie and I as we made our way to the cafeteria after class.
Katie had come to meet me after her classes and that was my last class for the day. We wanted to have lunch from the cafeteria before going back home.
“I heard it’s always fun,” Adam added with his husky voice.
Katie and I exchanged glances at each other before responding in unison. “Sure, we will.”
Winter was my favorite season and I wouldn’t miss any fun activities taking place, especially in school. I would get involved in anything that would make me leave the house.
