I woke up the next morning feeling a little bit relieved. Aiden had spent the night in my room to keep me company. I was half awake when he quietly left early in the morning, but I was too sleepy to say anything.
With a loud yawn, I sat upright on the bed and stretched my body. I didn’t have classes so I had a free day until 5:00 pm. It was the day of the winter formal.
I was excited about it because it was my first experience as a college student. I went into the bathroom to take a nice shower before heading downstairs to make myself breakfast.
