After practice, I headed home, so I could change and go to the hospital and spend time with Melody. I found out the chemo she gets, changed how food tastes to her.
She loves ice cream, but it tastes funny anymore. So I did a little research and found out about something called nice cream.
It’s a dairy free alternative for ice cream. I’m thinking that might give Melody an ice cream taste without ice cream.
Basically it's frozen bananas and almond milk that you cream into ice cream. I put cut up bananas in my freezer, I was going to throw it into the blend it and hope it works.
When I got to my condo I noticed a grocery bag was at my front door. Did some shopper drop off someone’s groceries to me by mistake?
I picked up the bag and looked inside. It had frozen fish sticks in it.
